newborn, child & family photography

Welcome to my Fargo Photography Studio!

I’m so happy you’re here so I can show you around! I’ve created a relaxing and cozy space for my clients to enjoy during their newborn, baby milestone, and maternity sessions. In my studio, you’ll find a large selection of props, backdrops, headbands and outfits. This allows you to come as you are and not have to worry about anything else.

My goal is to make you feel at home in my studio, whether it’s taking a nap on my comfy couch during your newborn session or having a cup of coffee while you’re here. I want you to relax and enjoy the experience.

As you walk into my studio, you’ll notice the warm and welcoming atmosphere. I have some beautiful samples of my work on display for you to enjoy while you wait for your session to begin. Plus, it’s the perfect spot for a quick chat and to create a game plan before we start.

One of my favorite things about my studio is the variety of backdrops and props available. I’ve got a wide selection of backgrounds to choose from, whether you’re looking for something classic and timeless or something more modern and trendy. And when it comes to props, I have everything from baby beds to baby bonnets. It’s so much fun to play around with different setups and find the perfect one for your taste.

Safety is my number one priority, so I always make sure that your baby is comfortable and happy during the session. I have a lot of experience posing babies and I guarantee they will be in good hands.

I love getting to know each family and capturing their unique personalities and connections. My goal is to make sure that you have beautiful photographs that you’ll treasure for a lifetime. But let’s get into the tour!

Here’s the view when you walk into the studio, a nice place to relax or even take a nap during your newborn session!
We’ve got you covered with plenty of tasty snacks and refreshing beverages to keep you fueled up!
Little ones will be entertained too with our TV streaming Netflix and baskets filled with fun toys.
The white couch is a perfect backdrop for a nice family photo.
The changing table is equipped with diapers, wipes and anything else you might need during your session.
Here are all the newborn accessories, my favorite part of the studio. The soft color pallets really compliment my organic and classic style.
The backroom has creamy walls and neutral furniture to really make your family the highlight of the images.
I love having 1 year olds stand up in the vintage crib, they love to bounce and always give the greatest smiles!
I’ve had a few different bed options in the studio over the years, but this daybed from World Market
is definitely a favorite, it photographs so well!
This is the main shooting space with a variety of backdrops, I love using wood planks in my images and these
all give different, yet beautiful looks.
I have plenty of outfit choices for sitter sessions as well! I also have a gallery highlighting the options
in this collection, you can check out the girl outfits here and the boy outfits here!

Now just for fun Let’s take a walk down memory lane! Check out some of my very first studio pictures from way back in 2015! Yup, you read that right! These were taken straight out of my living room! Talk about humble beginnings! I was so lucky to have that extra space in my home, but man, am I glad I don’t have to do that anymore! With two (now three) little ones running around, it was total chaos! But hey, we all start somewhere, right? And I’m so grateful for the clients who stuck with me from the beginning! Talk about a “glow up”!

Photographing sets on carpet was challenging to say the least!
Fast forward to later in 2015, and we made a game-changing decision to extend our wood floors into the studio space. It made my job so much easier! But, as my business grew, I knew I needed more room to work with. At the time, we used the spare bedroom next door to store all my props, and our guests had to make do with sleeping in the basement. But, now that room is the playroom and our guests have their own space again.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this tour of my studio. I can’t wait to welcome you in person! If you have any questions about my studio space or booking a session, feel free to reach out to me at ashley.oberholtzer@gmail.com
